A routine traffic stop changed the lives of police officer Ryan Nagy and his
wife, Barb when a pickup truck, slammed both Ryan and his squad car into the
back of a Jeep. Ryan, his legs crushed, was rushed to the trauma and his right
leg was amputated. Besides the loss of his leg, Ryan suffered brain trauma and
he had to undergo occupational and physical therapy. More than 100 police officers
showed up to offer encouragement as Ryan leaves MetroHealth Medical Center.
