As the evening sun lay low on the horizon, laborers, mostly family members young and old, cast long shadows as they dig a deep and long pit by hand that will eventually hold a massive gasoline tank at a service station near the city of Hyderabad, India. Manual labor, performed by people many hours a day, is not uncommon in parts of India.
